Murphy's LawTypical. I get a satellite dish so I can watch Charlton's matches live on ESPN and the first one that comes my way,
home against Fulham, is on at two o'clock in the bloody morning. Tonight.
You see, it's a Monday evening match back in Sarf London. What happened to Saturday afternnons, eh?
What's that?
TV rights?
Big business? Oh.
Before this weekend, Charlton were a magnificent second, with a game in hand. Now we are seventh with two games in hand and a win will put us back in contention to ride Chelsea's coat tails. Nice.
So, with an early start tomorrow, what do I do?
Watch it and have a day off sick?
Nah, too much on my plate and, besides, it's not my style.
Or do I lay off the net until seven tomorrow evening when it'll be repeated in it's entirety?
You'll find out tomorrow. If I don't post anything, it'll be because I'm watching the match not having logged onto the net all day.
I like surprises.
